ORBITAL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
UPDATE
Orbital's Financial
Year 2007 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the Riverview
Room 5, Perth Convention Exhibition
Centre, Perth at 10.00 am on Tuesday 23rd October. Parking at
the venue will be at a premium so we advise all attending to allow
plenty of time to find parking (see
map) or use public transport.
In addition to the formal business of the day,
Orbital will display some of the new products using Orbital's direct
injection technology as well as products using Engine Management
Systems supplied by Synerject, Orbital's 50:50 JV partnership with
Siemens VDO.
The product displays will include a special
production example of the Direct Injected Bajaj Auto-rickshaw launched
in May this year. Other displays on the day will include examples
of other production models released in the last 12-18 months including
the Mercury Marine Optimax outboards as well as examples of the
latest Evinrude outboards equipped with ETEC fuel systems as manufactured
by Synerject at the Delavan facility in the US.
Also on display for the first time will be
an example of the new multi-fuel Polaris ATV vehicle. This engine
represents a special milestone in Orbital's history as this is Orbital's
first production 4-stroke direct injected engine.
The members of the Orbital Board and
Senior Staff will be on hand to welcome shareholders for coffee
and discussion at the conclusion of the formal business.
